Our Commitment to Clarity: Terms & Conditions

At Loom & Leaf Provisions, we believe in building trust through transparency. Our comprehensive terms and conditions are designed to ensure excellent service delivery while safeguarding the interests and expectations of everyone involved in our culinary journeys together.

These terms apply to all our services, from specialty food retail to bespoke catering and engaging workshops.

These Terms and Conditions govern all interactions, purchases, and service engagements with Loom & Leaf Provisions, encompassing our retail store, online shop, bespoke catering, cookery workshops, and all related offerings. By accessing our services or making a purchase, you acknowledge and agree to be bound by these terms. We aim for clarity and fairness, ensuring a smooth experience for all our valued customers.

Applicability and Acceptance

These terms apply to all users and customers accessing or using our website and services. Your use constitutes explicit acceptance of these terms, effective immediately upon your first engagement. If you do not agree, you must refrain from using our services.

Service Availability and Geographic Scope

Our primary services are available within Greater London, UK. Specific delivery zones and service limitations may apply to certain offerings, such as catering and hamper deliveries, which will be clearly communicated during the booking or ordering process. Age requirements for specific purchases or workshop participation will also be stipulated.

Modifications to Terms

Loom & Leaf Provisions reserves the right to update or modify these terms at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of significant changes, typically by posting the updated terms on our website. Continued use of our services after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

Order Acceptance and Confirmation

All orders placed through Loom & Leaf Provisions are subject to acceptance. We will confirm your order via email, detailing the items, pricing, and estimated delivery or collection time. This confirmation constitutes the formation of a binding contract.

Payment Methods and Processing

We accept all major credit and debit cards, as well as secure online payment gateways. Payment is processed at the time of order placement. For larger bespoke orders or catering services, a deposit may be required, with the balance due upon completion or delivery, as per your specific contract.

Delivery Policies and Timings

We aim to deliver within the estimated timeframes provided. Delivery charges and zones are specified during checkout. While we strive for punctuality, factors beyond our control (e.g., traffic, weather) may occasionally cause delays. We will communicate any significant delays promptly. For perishable goods, it is the customer's responsibility to ensure someone is available to receive the delivery.

Product Availability and Substitutions

All products are subject to availability. In the rare event an item you've ordered is unavailable, we reserve the right to offer a suitable alternative of equal or greater value, or a full refund for that item. We will always attempt to contact you regarding substitutions prior to delivery.

Pricing Accuracy

We take great care to ensure all pricing on our website and in-store is accurate. In the event of a pricing error, we reserve the right to correct it and will notify you before proceeding with the order. You will have the option to proceed with the corrected price or cancel your order.

Rescheduling Options

Subject to availability and the above cancellation deadlines, you may reschedule your workshop once without penalty (if more than 7 days notice). Subsequent rescheduling may incur an administrative fee.

Catering Contract Procedures and Deposits

All catering services require a formal contract. A non-refundable deposit (typically 30-50%) is required upon contract signing to secure your event date and initiate planning. The balance is due typically 7-14 days prior to the event, as specified in your contract.

Menu Changes and Finalization Deadlines

Menu selections must be finalized by the date stipulated in your catering contract, usually no later than two weeks before the event. Minor adjustments might be accommodated closer to the date, subject to ingredient availability and additional charges.

Event Cancellation and Force Majeure

Cancellation terms for catering services are detailed in your specific contract and are dependent on the notice period. In the event of 'Force Majeure' (unforeseeable circumstances beyond our control, e.g., natural disaster, pandemic), we will work with you to reschedule or find a mutually agreeable solution. Deposits may be transferred in such cases.

Service Delivery and Setup Requirements

Clients are responsible for providing adequate space and access for our team to deliver and set up. Any specific venue requirements or restrictions must be communicated to Loom & Leaf Provisions well in advance. Our team will coordinate setup times directly with your event planner or venue manager.

Additional Fees and Cost Adjustments

Additional fees may apply for special requests, extended service hours, bespoke equipment hire, or last-minute changes not covered in the original contract. All potential additional costs will be communicated transparently.
